The Grid 2/13/2019: Far From Final

The Grid is a column featuring acts on Chiswick Radio’s radar, along with all pertinent information to get you started.

Far From Final  is an Alabama-based rock band who released a helluva rocker with their album “Crossing The Sun” in 2018.  The influence of 90’s and 2000’s rock is visible here, with imprints of Alice in Chains, Velvet Revolver,  Days of the New and others here. Pretty good company, eh?

Act: Far From Final

Genre: Straightforward All-American Rock

Based:  Birmingham, AL .

What We Think:  Listening to Far From Final, you can easily transport yourself to a rock club,  the local pub’s jukebox, or seeing them rock it out live at the local House of Blues (BTW-the one in Boston has arena quality sound).  There’s just enough acoustic guitar mixed in here that country fans would have enough to chew on here.  My favorite tune is the catchy “Cover is Blown” which is on Spotify and their Bandcamp page. (https://farfromfinal.bandcamp.com/track/cover-is-blown).  If you like new music, there’s at least 2-3 songs here that can make it to your playlists.
